Roping Saddle, Suede Seat, Tooled Leather, 15", Light Use, Solid, VG Quality

Very nice Solid saddle suitable for roping, cutting, ranch work and great for trails with steep hills. Beautifully tooled, even under cantle. Has brass D-Rings, full double rigging with rigging guard, back billets with thick leather back cinch. The snap on the back cinch connector is rusted. Really nice stirrups, leather covered with tread wear leather, new Blevins Buckle adjusters, includes leather tie strap and off strap. Gullet is 7" wide, nice sheep skin bottom, Ralide tree and weighs about 35 lbs.
I bought this saddle years ago from an older man who hadn't used it for quite a while, was covered and stored in his tack room. I only used it a couple times, loaned it to a friend and when he returned it with the dark stain and a wear spot. The wear spot isn't a deep hole but missing a small patch of suede, it never changed so didn't disturb. Really upset about the damage because the seat was perfect, doesn't affect the use just not so pretty. The leather is good condition, the left rear & right front skirt edge fold in slightly but not noticeable when on a pad. The saddle is numbered 4000 on the Keeper but could not find a maker mark. I did have our local saddle shop take a look, said it was quality built with extra's that a brand saddle would have. The tooling on the cantle back side is one of the extra's. The owner couldn't remember the maker either but knew it was a brand saddle. Except for the seat the saddle is in very good overall condition...you would not be disappointed.
