The hard to locate Tura 575L, in all its buttery golden glory. The first style of the leather wrapped series, produced in 1982.
Unworn deadstock/NOS in brilliant vintage condition.
The leather used for this Tura series was specially treated from Tannereye in Canada specifically understanding that these frames would be worn on a face - things like makeup would not get absorbed into the leather.
Golden brown leather is pristine, not dried or cracked, remains supple from being stored well and showing the slightest bit of legit vintage patina from decades of storage.
Stitching completely intact.
Gold metal pops. No tarnish/verdegris or discernible scratches.
Original hardware intact - barrel hinges remain supertight.
Original nose pads are intact and not brittle, but they will need to be adjusted.
Note these frames are at least 30 years old and it is typical to require slight adjustments on any frame to fit any individual closer to perfect, handled by your eyecare professional.
Original very light brown gradient non-rx lenses are clear except for some light scratches on the right lens and to the bottom area of the left lens closest to the bridge.
Does not greatly affect visibility, but you may want to consider replacing them.
