This 1880-1920’s era antique Pince Nez spectacle tortoise frame is in its original case was originally sold by Wall and Ochs of Philadelphia, PA. This eyewear is in good condition, considering its age, featuring a solid frame and hard shell case that in great shape that opens and close with a nice snapping sound.
In 1885 William Well and Charles Ochs opened their retail optical store in Philadelphia, PA, and is still in operation today. With this as a beginning, other optical locations were purchased, starting the first optical store chain in the United States in the early 1970s...U.S. Vision.
